Established in 1993, SOS is a nationally accredited medical surplus recovery organization.  As part of our mission to advance global health, we have enhanced our work in responsibly redistributing surplus medical supplies and equipment to regions in need by also providing tools and resources to create safe water sources and provide access to disinfectants critically needed in medical care.  Supplies can be obtained in amounts as small as a suitcase up to a 40-foot ocean going container. For shorter term missions, SOS operates a "Medical Team Store" where obtained supplies can be packed in a suitcase for hand carry. If applicant is not able to visit the warehouse in KY, supplies can be ordered in a Custom Box. For larger or longer term missions, SOS provides medical supplies through the Custom Pallet or Container Shipment program. Since 1993 SOS has sent needed medical supplies and equipment to over 105 countries.
