Mission to Ukraine (MTU) works in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.  The mission of MTU is to "honor life with the love of Christ by serving children with special needs and pregnant women making life-defining decisions, while we influence society on their behalf."  Founded in 1997, MTU serves more than 500 women and their babies each year (those saved from abortion).  We also provide a wide variety of medical, humanitarian, and therapeutic services (PT, OT, etc) for 600 children with disabilities - as well as serving 100 young men with very significant disabilities in a local orphanage.  We are nearly finished with our new 25,000 square foot rehabilitation center in Zhytomyr - and are looking for US partners to volunteer alongside our Ukrainian staff of professional therapists, physicians, and counselors.
