American Mission Hospital is the earliest medical facility in the Middle East (among GCC Countries), serving the Kingdom of Bahrain for over 120 years.

Samuel Zwemer, the American missionary, first arrived in 1892 onto the shores of this Arab Muslim nation, with a heart for Christ and  a desire to serve.  He and the missionary doctors who followed him faced untold hardships, in the heat and dust of this island nation, but persisted in following the great commission.

Today, AMH is an ultramodern healthcare system serving the community from four different campuses in the country, on the same biblical values of Compassion, Grace and Love.

AMH’s newest and the most exciting project is a brand-new, world-class, digital-driven hospital that will open around the end of 2022.

We are looking for mission-minded healthcare professionals, who wish to be a part of this next ‘great adventure’ in this region, and to be the salt and light to the people of Bahrain.
