Meeting Overview
Healthcare education is an essential component of global Christian missions—both short term and long term—serving as a practical expression of Christ’s love. At the 2025 GMHC meeting, a group of Christian healthcare professionals with a shared interest in global healthcare education gathered to discuss developing high quality teaching and training materials for graduate and postgraduate programs.
The discussion revealed broad interest across organizations, mission agencies, and individuals, along with a strong desire to collaborate in storing, and sharing educational resources for global use. Under the leadership of Dr. John Pierce, Senior Vice President of CMDA, several Zoom meetings and working groups have since been formed to explore pathways for coordinated progress.
This pre conference session will bring together all who are interested to hear updates from this collaborative endeavor, to review a summary of the Summit Leaders Conference, and to discuss priorities ahead as we move collectively for the honor of God. We welcome anyone involved in healthcare education—or those who feel called to develop teaching resources for a global community—to join us.
